Your host is a software engineer by profession. He has also been a photographer, a salesman, an executive assistant, an under cover security officer, a photographic lab technician, a grease monkey, a retail store manager, a lumberjack, and many other things he'd like to forget.
Service to his country and fellow man was done as a volunteer for ten years in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. There he held both elected and appointed offices at the Flotilla, Division and District levels. He reached the National staff as Branch Chief in Education Training. While serving he was an educator, boat coxswain, air crewman, marine mammal sanctuary observer and worked in marine environmental pollution control. He was also one of the first auxiliary members to serve with the crew of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Grand Isle.
His interests include sailing, fly fishing, fly tying, birding, woodworking, gardening, web 2.0 technologies, reading and listening to an eclectic mix of music.

He confesses he is a mommy blog reader. He lives with his wife in Massachusetts along with the ghosts of his two cats Liddy and Lefty.
